When being successful is costing you too much.
In-person in Irving and virtually throughout Texas.
You’ve worked hard to build your career. But lately, the pressure may feel impossible to leave at work.
You may be exhausted, anxious, irritable, unable to sleep, or constantly questioning yourself. Even when you’re technically “off,” your mind is still reviewing conversations, anticipating problems, and preparing for what comes next.
NLW Counseling provides trauma-informed therapy for professionals navigating burnout, workplace anxiety, toxic work environments, leadership pressure, and difficult career transitions.

Burnout doesn’t always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks like continuing to perform while becoming increasingly disconnected from yourself.
Every job has difficult seasons. But chronic stress can begin affecting how you think, feel, relate to others, and function outside the workplace.
You may find yourself replaying interactions, dreading Monday before the weekend has even ended, struggling to make decisions, or feeling as though you must remain constantly alert.
And when you’ve built your identity around being capable, dependable, and successful, admitting that work is affecting you can bring up guilt, shame, or fear.
Therapy gives you somewhere to be honest about the cost of holding everything together.
The goal isn’t to tell you whether to stay, leave, confront the issue, or “just cope.” It’s to help you understand what’s happening, reconnect with yourself, and make intentional choices about what comes next.
Before becoming a therapist, Nicole Watson spent 14 years working in the securities industry and eventually served as a Director of Operations.
She understands demanding careers, leadership pressure, regulatory environments, impossible deadlines, and the unspoken expectation to keep performing regardless of the personal cost.
Nicole now brings that real-world experience into trauma-informed work with high-achieving professionals who are ready to address burnout, workplace anxiety, boundaries, and the patterns beneath chronic over-functioning.
Individual therapy sessions with Nicole are $150 for 50 minutes. NLW Counseling is currently accepting a limited number of new private-pay clients.

You’re allowed to take your stress seriously before it becomes a crisis.
Therapy can give you space to slow down, understand what this experience has been doing to you, and decide how you want to move forward.
